Hello,
This web blog was created to tell my story of what happend to me at Master Lube Express, in Indianapolis, Indiana, In. On Rockville Road. This Company is owned by Master Auto Services Group LLC.
On 1/20/2004 I went to Master Lube Express On Rockville Road in Idnianapolis, Indiana. When I walked in I told the manager how I would like the oil changed and a fuel filter put on my car. I went in the lobby and sat and waited. Then "the Manager" came inside "ALONE" and said that they didnt have the fuel filter for my car in stock so what he would do is go ahead order the part and in the meantime go ahead and do some kind of flush. He never explained to me what it was he was gonna do I thought it was something small to make up for the fact that they didnt have my fuel filter in. I was not told anything about what he was gonna be doing to my car. He made it seem like he was going to do this for no fee since there was no fuel filter in that fit my car. HAHAHAHAHA I should have known. So they are now done with my car and I get the bill saying that I owe 82.71 I was in shock and I said to the guy I have NEVER PAID 82.71 for an oil change here before as I always went to the same place to get my oil changed, and he said oh well the flush was 39.99 I was amazed that they could actually do this WHOA I wasnt told a price or even told what EXACTLY they were gonna be doing to my car. Like i said i thought it was just something small they were gonna do since they didnt have my part. So I didnt want to make a scene Im not big on making scenes in public. I Learned though that I should have made a scene acuse since I didnt I lost. But either way IM NOT DONE. This isnt the END. I call the district manager over the area in Indianapolis Indiana that this Master Lube Express Is Located on Rockville Road. A Gentleman answers and he already knows who I am I guess he is waiting on my call. He asks me "what my side of the story was ? " I guess their "RELIABLE HONEST DEPENDABLE MANAGER" had already called cause as Im telling him what happend to me he has a rebutle for everything an excuse. First the manager told him that when he came to tell me that they didnt have my fuel filter that there was a witness with him someone from the shop also came in with him is what he told his manager. I replied to that by saying that we all know that when they come in to tell you they you need this or need that noone comes in with them. Only 1 person it doesnt take the whole garage to tell someone something. SO he lied to him and the manager not only believed him over me knowing that ONLY 1 person comes in to talk to the customer but THE DISTRICT manager says to me thathe knows for a fact that there was a guy in the lunch room who heard everything ?? THAT TO ME WAS REAL WEIRD CAUSE the whole time I was there noone came out from the back where the lunch room is and I was there for quiet a while so he must shave took a LONG LONG LUNCH that day. Anyways so while Im telling my story and getting CUT OFF by the district manager he asks me "CAN HE TALK NOW " Im not done telling my side yet and I was rudely interrupted by him saying " CAN I TALK NOW" I have let you talk now can I talk. SO I laughed in complete shock and said sure. He goes on to say that he knows for a fact that "THE MANAGER" is a good worker and that he knows he would never rip anyone off or do something without telling them first what EXACTLY he was gonna do and go over the price and everything, then he says AGAIn about teh guy being in the lunch room. I felt like I was FIGHTING FOR MY CASE. Noone was listening so I simply told him thats fine they can have my 39.99 dollars extra that they basically TOOK from me like a poor women who goes into a mechanic needing 1 tire and gets 4 new ones and the bill with them and I would take my business elswhere. This is a true story and this is how it happend I felt like not only was i ripped off but then I was treated like a piece of crap by the district manager I was in complete shock.
